Available Adult Bunnies

At Huggable Bunnies, we sometimes have adult bunnies looking for loving homes. These include our carefully chosen retired adults from our breeding program, as well as return bunnies—rabbits we’ve welcomed back without judgment, so we can find them the perfect new family.

We are extremely picky and intentional about where our bunnies go. The first step is always to submit an application, so we can ensure it’s the right match for both you and the bunny.

Personality is already proven

You’ll know exactly what kind of bunny you’re welcoming into your life — whether a mellow lap bunny, playful sidekick, or social butterfly.

Most are already spayed or neutered

No hormonal behaviors to navigate, and bonding with another bunny is easier.

Litter trained

Our adult bunnies are already accustomed to using a litter box, making the transition to your home smoother.

Past the baby stage

Less chewing, calmer energy, and no unpredictable growing phases.

A wonderful option for first-time bunny owners

Adults tend to adjust quickly and need less intensive training.

You’re giving them a second chance at a forever home

Bluemie

Meet Bluemie 💙✨ — our 4-month-old Blue Full Face English Angora. She is truly one of the easiest and gentlest bunnies I’ve ever raised. Bluemie has a naturally calm, loving temperament, and she melts into your arms the moment you pick her up. She is going to stay pretty small, and one of her ears sits adorably down, giving her the cutest, most unique look. Her blue coat is absolutely stunning, and she currently has her sweet little puppy haircut, which makes her even more irresistible.

Bluemie is extremely easy to handle, has been exposed to many people holding her, and does wonderfully around gentle small kids and dogs. She is also doing well with her litter box, though like most young bunnies she may still have the occasional accident. I believe she will bond beautifully with a neutered male bunny. She hasn’t shown any hormonal behaviors yet, but she will only be placed with a strict spay contract and must be fixed at 6–7 months of age.

Bluemie has the softest energy and so much potential to become a therapy bunny, an emotional support companion, or an amazing family pet for a home with children who know how to be gentle. As with all my bunnies, the family who adopts her must stay in contact with me and understand that if at any point they cannot care for her, she must be returned to me only. No matter where you live, you are responsible for delivery expenses. If you cannot afford spaying or the proper long-term care she needs, please do not apply.

Bluemie is a truly special little soul — tiny, blue, calm, and full of love — and she deserves a family who will cherish her as much as we do. 💙✨

Cocoa

Meet Cocoa 🤎🐰

I’m casually looking for the perfect home for Cocoa — one of my favorite bunnies and a boy who means the world to me. He was my first European Teddywidder that I produced and raised, and because of that, I will be extremely picky about where he goes.

Cocoa is a 4-year-old Sable Chocolate Magpie male. He is not neutered, very clean, and does a great job with the litter box. Personality-wise, he’s the kind of bunny who makes a house feel alive — super social, loves attention, and truly thrives with free-roam time. Expect adorable zoomies, joyful hops, and little moments that will make you laugh daily. He is wonderful with everyday handling: easy to groom and handle, good around kids and dogs, and he will happily follow you for treats like a tiny shadow.

Home preference & commitment:

Cocoa should be an only bunny, or possibly could be bonded with a spayed female (bonding can never be guaranteed). His future family must be willing to stay in regular contact with me and provide updates about how he’s doing — that’s very important to me. If, for any reason, you are ever unable to care for Cocoa, he must be returned to me only. The adopter is responsible for safe return and all delivery expenses.

I strongly prefer Cocoa to stay in California, but I am open to out-of-state homes if the fit is truly exceptional and meets all of his needs.

If you feel your home might be the right match for Cocoa, please reach out with details about your setup, experience, and what daily life would look like for him. 🤎
